Currently in Cycle 4, of the four 13-year cycles:

1987-2000 = red SKYWALKER (ben) years

2000-2013 = white MIRROR (etznab) years

2026-2039 = yellow STAR (lamat) years

FOURTH column, to the right, is for the COLOR of the current 365-day solar YEAR, marked by Mayan "New Year’s Day," currently celebrated on January 11. (And NOT July 26, as many believe.)

The order of the current 4-year cycle:

• 2023 ~ red SKYWALKER ben - East

︎• 2024 ~ white MIRROR etznab - South

• 2025 ~ blue NIGHT akbal - West

FIFTH column, shows the COLOR of the 65-DAY SEASON associated with each day.

The four (4) 65-day Season cycle BEGINS on red 3 SERPENT chikchan on day #185.

The Four Season cycles are another “inner” hidden 260-day cycle (65 days x 4 = 260) which weaves together consecutive regular 260-day cycles by overlapping them.

The order of the 65-day SEASON cycles, are:

• red SERPENT chikchan Season

Season of kundalini and sacred movement

• white DOG ok Season

Season of compassion, love, nourishment

• blue EAGLE men Season

Season of the group mind and projected prayers

• yellow SUN ajaw Season

Season of ascension and enlightenment

Each 65-day SEASON begins on a week-day 3:

3 SERPENT - day #185, NIGHT Week 15

3 DOG - day #250, STAR Week 20

3 EAGLE - day #55, SKYWALKER Week 5

3 SUN - day #120, MIRROR Week 10

The Season days - Sd

During each 65-day Season, the day-sign associated with and named for that Season is called a Season day, abbreviated in red as “Sd.”

During each Season, the four Season Days (Sd) within each Season appear on week-days: 3, 10, 4 and 11.

Market Days = m

Every FIVE day is a “Markey day.”

On various charts, Market days are identified by the small green letter “m.”

These Market Days are the four day-signs in every 65-day Season associated with the four Seasons. Goods & food items are brought into the town and village markets for sale and barter.

The order in each Month of the Market Days are:

SERPENT > DOG >- EAGLE > SUN
