The Americas
The 260-day Mayan Calendar "Tzolkin" is the world's most accurate calendar. This Calendar of The Americas is exactly aligned to the solar orbital cycles of the planet Venus and is composed of 20 symbols and 13 numbers.
Author and researcher Richard Alan Eagle has been teaching the Mayan Calendar for over 35 years.
"The ancient Mayan Calendar exactly predicts the synodic orbital periods of the planets Mercury, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn, plus solar and lunar eclipses."
There are two versions of the Mayan Calendar: (1) the oldest and most accurate is the Guatemala Highland count, used here, and (2) the Yucatan Lowland count, most famously used by the late Dr. Jose Arguelles for his boardgame DREAMSPELL.
The Guatemala Highland count is exactly aligned with the orbital cycles of Venus and is used by the oldest Maya communities in Central America, whereas the Yucatan Lowland count used for Dreamspell has been scientifically proven to be in error by 44 days.
Many people mistake the round Aztec Sun Stone, a commissioned work of art created in 1494 AD on display in Mexico City, for the design of the Mayan Calendar.

MOON phases at Perigee (P) and Apogee (A) indicates when the Moon in its average 13.75 day cycle is at its closest point (P) or (A) farthest away point to Earth for the month.
Perigee (P) creates pressure, stresses, and plants sprout new growth.
At Apogees (A) gravitational stresses decrease and plants withdraw energy into their root systems.
Note: The concept of using a "13 Moon Calendar," composed of thirteen 28-day months, I do not support because the average lunar cycle is 27.35 days and wwill always create a problem every four years with the "extra" Leap Year day.

We can find the number 28 by a formula of adding together the sum of the week-day numbers of four specific days: (1) the first and last days of the first and last months, days #1, #20, #241 and #260. 1+7+7+13=28.
